Other fights that night. Crocop definitely showed that retirement could be his best option since he is for sure not the same fighter he was years ago as he missed numerous opportunities for attack and allowed Nelson to clearly control the center of the ring. And of my favorite fighter, Donald Cerrone, made a great showing subbing Dennis Siver in a beautiful fashion. That's it for now, head is burned out from studying--more to talk about later.

UFC 137 is in the books. Definitely the fight of the night was with Diaz and Penn as put on great performances. Although Diaz complained afterwords that he didn't put on the greatest performance, I still really enjoyed his strategy in that he really worked to fatigue Penn. Penn obvious weakness, according to many, is his gas tank and Diaz clearly attacked that weakness as he went to town nailing Penn with pounding body punches and using the clinch to pin Penn against the cage. While Penn surprise in working the inside a bit more than expected, Penn looked to gas out rather quickly towards the end of round 1 and lost his ability to work in advantageous attacks unto Diaz for the remainder of the fight.
