Other fights that night. Crocop definitely showed that retirement could be his best option since he is for sure not the same fighter he was years ago as he missed numerous opportunities for attack and allowed Nelson to clearly control the center of the ring. And of my favorite fighter, Donald Cerrone, made a great showing subbing Dennis Siver in a beautiful fashion. That's it for now, head is burned out from studying--more to talk about later.

UFC 137 is in the books. Definitely the fight of the night was with Diaz and Penn as put on great performances. Although Diaz complained afterwords that he didn't put on the greatest performance, I still really enjoyed his strategy in that he really worked to fatigue Penn. Penn obvious weakness, according to many, is his gas tank and Diaz clearly attacked that weakness as he went to town nailing Penn with pounding body punches and using the clinch to pin Penn against the cage. While Penn surprise in working the inside a bit more than expected, Penn looked to gas out rather quickly towards the end of round 1 and lost his ability to work in advantageous attacks unto Diaz for the remainder of the fight.

I am lazy
I haven't been back in a while it looks like. Anyways, big fights this weekend with UFC 137 on Sunday, and Nick Diaz/BJ Penn should be the hot fight to watch. However, I have a feeling that unless they both get on the floor and start attacking each other with their mutually grand BJJ skills, I expect the to be rather dull going the full distance with I believe a decision win by Diaz. However, the fight I'm definitely looking forward to is the Siver/Cerrone fight as Donald Cerrone is one of my favorite fighters since he has the full game for a MMA fighter-Boxing/thai boxing skills, BJJ and wrestling, and I have him taking this fight based on a strong height advantage. Although with both fights, who really knows what will happen.
My teammates at TaiwanBJJ just competed in the Thailand Open and everyone performed quite well with numerous medals garnered. Nothing much else happening, gotta get back to keeping this blog up and since it is Halloween this weekend, i'll probably be back reporting the various escapades that will occur as a result of partying insanely.
